The Strasburg Sanitation and Water District will be inspecting and flushing fire hydrants in the District beginning tomorrow, June 28, 2024.
When the hydrants are flushed this may stir up the lines and customers can experience sediment in their water supply. This sediment is not harmful, but the District would advise customers to have a supply of drinking water on hand. The water supply will return to normal in approximately four hours. Running taps and flushing toilets can speed this process along.
We would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and encourage customers to call the Water District with any questions or concerns they may have.
